So have a watch in the garage which has been sitting there for 3 weeks now. It came from New York, Queens to be exact. As such when it arrived I used gloves to open the shipping box and the rest of it. I sprayed the watch down with Lysol and clorox wipes. It is still out there waiting for me along with my old Revue thommen which has a strap from cheap natos on it now. The only strap to have shown up by the way after a month of waiting.
The watch and the new strap are also out in the garage after being sprayed with lysol and a clorox wipe. Beginning to think neither of them will see my wrist anytime soon.

It should be safe after three weeks.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

I open my shipping boxes outside, have a UV sterilizer that I can put the watch in. Inner box goes in closet in home office.
Wash hands after handling. Should be fine.
