Crystal protectors

Post by Budman2k » February 8th 2020, 1:14pm

Anyone tried a crystal protector on their watches? Kind of like the screen protectors for smartphones, iPads etc. When I bought my last Citizen they threw one in with the purchase. I haven't installed it yet but I'll probably try it out at some point. Might be good for the non sapphire crystals.

Let's hear it good or bad if you've used one.

Maybe I'm living in 1981, but I have never even heard of or seen a crystal protector. I have no idea what that could possibly be, and I write these words in open-minded earnestness.
WatchGeeks will go down in watch forum history as the worst watch related site that existed. Trolls, threats, bannings, and owners and sponsors talking out of their collective asses to fleece people out of hard earned money. - Koimaster

I didn't know either! They packed one with my Citizen (as a little gift I guess) so I thought I'd see if they are useful.

Not me. If I get a scratch in the course of wearing my watch I live with it.
C'est la vie. Que sera,sera. Etc.etc.
Yuppers. Crystal protectors sound too much like pocket protectors.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

Nope, no way, no screen protector on my phone and no bra on my car. I like to live on the edge.
NRPI here.
