Invicta - Solid Platinum and 18K Gold Watch & Lies!

Post by koimaster » December 17th 2019, 4:27pm

In a move to prove that Invicta is capable of producing high end watches, the company will introduce a 200 piece limited edition of a watch that president Eyal Lalo said is the first mass produced platinum and 18K gold watch. This new watch, called the Limited Edition Invicta Platinum Automatic, uses a modified Valjoux 2892-17 movement in a case of solid 18K rose gold with a platinum bezel.

“We wanted to prove a point that Invicta doesn’t just make high quality stainless steel watches, we have the capability and capacity to make these fine watches,” Lalo said.

Invicta, which this year was chosen as the Official Timepiece of the 2002 Latin Grammy Awards, the 2002 MTV Latin America Awards and was in the 2003 Grammy Awards gift baskets,

is moving its manufacturing from Chiasso, Switzerland to a new factory in L’Abbaye. “Our new factory will be ready in April 2003, and it is located about 100 steps from the Breguet factory,” Lalo added.

“Sales for Invicta are up 150%. The new skeleton watches are doing very well, the new Lupa watch is a huge seller. Once the platinum and gold limited editions are sold out, we’ll come out with a regular model that isn’t limited for wider sale.”

The above watch is a re-dialed Claude Meylan watch as were the first S.Coifman watches which is a brand that does not really exist. The factory in the above news release refers to the Claude Meylan sales room, not a factory.

With the lilt of Irish laughter

Every day and in every way

Now forever and ever after."
