I'm killing it here guys.

Over on WUS, a photo thread I did on a sibling model.

I really liked that one, but I've yet to find the brown dialed keeper watch, close as that one was. But this is one I can wear.

Plus, it will be a great addition to the photo collection.

That thing is cool as hell.
No doubt. The whole SCBSxxx line is pretty cool, some interesting color variations. But this one is the killshot if you want relatively discreet daily wearability is a high priority, and the soft silver dial, well, they picked a good variant for the 001 model in the line.

I'm surprised that has sat on ebay for 6 weeks without someone buying it at that price, truth be told. People on ebay just not looking for this sort thing, I guess. Entirely fair price, again, I'm surprised it sat there for this long.

6r15 movement, the SCBS "Moving Design" line was a run for Tiktok watch shops in Japan back in 2007/2008, they are reasonably nice items in the Seiko range.

The past few years, you don't see many of them around anymore on Japan sites. This one would have sold right away at this price in Japan.

The SCBS011 is the other one I hope to catch one day. It is pretty unicorn-y, this is the only pic I can find at the moment:

But no way could I wear it as often as the SCBS001 black/silver deal.

The SCBS021 is also interesting, you do see these once in a very long while

Totally bauhaus.

But Seiko passive aggressive not just with the date window but with the magnifying window or whatever you call it totally sullying the museum moma-ness of it all

You guys should buy every one of these you see. SCBS stuff, at least the ones under 1k with full collector kit

The SCBS021 is a great looking watch IMO
That is definitely one of the pieces that is on my "buy on sight" if it is in reasonable condition, boxes, etc. I did miss a few years back, which is what got it promoted to this status. That and the bronze looking one. I'd like to have either of those for a while at least.

Not as versatile as the SCBS001, though.
