Head-To-Head: Seiko Prospex Series SLA017J1 versus SLA025J1 versus SLA033J1 (otherwise SBDX019 versus SBEX007 versus SBDX031)

The trinity of Seiko's iconic watches albeit re-crafted from the original designs. From left to right; the SLA017J1 (http://easternwatch.blogspot.com/2017/0 ... j1-or.html), re-crafted from the legendary 1965 Seiko 62MAS (autoMAtic Selfdater) Ref. 6217-8000/1; the SLA025J1 (https://easternwatch.blogspot.com/2018/ ... 07-hi.html), re-crafted for the famous 1968 Seiko Hi-Beat Ref. 6159-7001; and the SLA033J1 (http://easternwatch.blogspot.com/2019/0 ... mited.html), re-crafted for the incredible 1970 Seiko Ref. 6105-811X.

Full reviews of each watch are in the above links. Below is the link to the head to head comparison.

That's like road-testing three Ford Pintos, to see which one will explode first.
At least that would be interesting

Interestingly, and to be less of a smartass: All three of these watches are great. They are fine. Carl can speak up about usability for scuba diving, but all of them are good watches.

Alas, Seiko has created an embarrassment of riches in terms of dive watches. For 99% of sportsmen out there, you can buy an SKX007 and be fine. Otherwise, other watch companies make one good dive watch, or a couple, or a few. So, buy the cheapest Seiko diver you can get that appeals to you. Otherwise, fuck the hell off.
My little brain can't even comprehend how deep that is.
