I liked his historical discussion and he made lots of good points there, but the watch comparison showed him to be a Sub fan underneath.

IMO the Sub has the better bracelet and resale, and aesthetically its an icon. Everything else goes to the GS, but you don't get that from the video even after noting the GS is consistently better made and at least twice as accurate. Personally I think the SeaDweller is the better comparison to the GS Diver.

His comment about WR indicates a lack of understanding about Seiko's approach to rating water resistance. 200m WR in a Seiko just means it's an ISO dive watch. 300m and above are reserved for saturation divers. Regardless of it's listed WR you can rely on a Seiko to manage several times that depth in real-world use.
