Epic Hong Kong Watchabout

Post by artman » September 3rd 2019, 4:10pm

Hong Kong is one of the coolest places in the world despite the political unrest that they are experiencing. Here are my impressions of the watch culture in this marvelous city (or country... depending on who you ask). First stop... Time Square, Causeway Bay.

Due to protesters gathering in this side of the bay we jumped on the Star Ferry and headed to the Kowloon side where my watch adventure continued without skipping a beat.

Here's what I brought with me on this trip.

And then at the airport the watches seem to never end.

With all these badass watches this is what I bought...

Cheers! And yes, glad to be home safe.

Really awesome photos. Really got a feel for what it's like there. Well done! :clap:
WatchGeeks will go down in watch forum history as the worst watch related site that existed. Trolls, threats, bannings, and owners and sponsors talking out of their collective asses to fleece people out of hard earned money. - Koimaster

Never thought of taking a ferry to/from Kowloon, I always went via subway.

Thanks for the picture tour Art, looks like things haven't changed much.

BTW= Love your Breitling
I love subways and trains but I love boats more! And for less than 3 bucks it's a bargain. Youre correct not much has changed. There's a few more stateside franchises but they've been protesting here since the Brits left. Prices are more expensive now. All those rich Chinese drove prices up so finding deal here is impossible.

Great pics per usual, art. Not sure I would have gone there now with all the B.S. going on, you and the Mrs. are true adventurers. I guess the place is just magic, regardless.
