Looks OK.....got any real info on it or just a pretty picture?

WTF is aqua speed? Is it an underwater racing watch? I see checkered flags but no tachymetric scale. I see a divers elapsed time bezel but no WR info.
It looks like a confused watch with elements of a diver and racing watch that doesn't have enough to be classified as either.
Fashion watch all the way. Enjoy and thanks for asking.

Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Wondering what its "Swiss" auto movement might be...since Rotary usually doesn't tell.

Rotary sells it on its own site for $199; at least I hope you got a deal on it.

I thought it would have been the same one "Swiss Legend" uses... a # SL525 something or another but it appears Richt2k nailed it. Perhaps it doesn't have the ststststuttering problem that the Claro888 does .

To answer the original question; looks cheap and gaudy to me.

An IT12 movement http://inter-t.ch/en/mechanical-movements.html

Great digging. But my rule of thumb on a "Swiss automatic": If the very company that sells it doesn't disclose what it is? I aint buyin' it.
Rule 1,493: Never photograph a watch on a wrist. On a lovely rock in a pond or a parapet, certainly - but never on a wrist.

Only thing that matters is that you like it.

That would have been a great watch to wear to the submarine races.

Seriously, let me second that. The watch might be all of our cups of tea, but if it works for you and rings your bell, it's all yours.

Thanks, Temerity! I think some of us can agree to agree and agree to disagree sometimes...no problem!!! I learn a lot here and I love the "banter". I paid $168 for the Aquaspeed. For me, it works and I feel I got a good deal. Have a great weekend, everyone! :D
