I noticed a new forum at WUS, Aquadive. I love the vintage look although they seem pricey for what you get.

Update: Uh oh! I couldn't help but notice the resemblance to Doxa and after a little digging, I see the Aquadive name has been resurrected by the Jenny family of Doxa (in)famy. No wonder they seem over-priced.

That website looks very VERY similar to the DOXA site...

Yeah. The WUS mods are falling over themselves for Aquadive.

I like the look of the 300 but would not part with the asking price for one.

This is off track, and when I see something that isn't true, I'm going to set it straight. Seems like you're insinuating Chinese manufacture, like other boutiques that you mention, but this isn't true.

Aquadives are Swiss/German made. The cases, crowns, crown tubes, bezels, movement holders, and case-backs are made in Germany. The crystals, dials, hands, spring-bars, and movements (ETA) are from Switzerland; and the Isofranes are made in Italy, with German made buckles. The entire watch is assembled, timed, and QC'd in Switzerland...which puts them in a completely different league when compared to other Asian sourced "boutique" watches.

The Jennys don't own Aquadive, S.U.M. (Synchron Uhren Manufaktur) owns Aquadive. Spend some time on Aquadive's website, and you'll see where the Aquadives are made....plus Doxas aren't made in HK, but I think you know that already.

As has been stated before, it reminds one of the relationship/non-relationship of Imperious to Invicta. At a higher price point-if you will. I can't read of the Jennys without thoughts of Forrest Gump.
