A New One For Mrs. C

Post by conjurer » May 17th 2017, 10:24am

I just got this little gem from Long Island Watches yesterday, which I got for Mrs. C's upcoming birfday:

Image

A Seiko SKX013K2--basically a shrunk down version of the 007. Next to a 41mm Hydronaut (with a really dirty crystal):

The 007 comes in at 42mm; the 013 is 38mm, and really seems smaller than that. It's fairly rare, and good work from Marc at LIW for stocking it, and getting it to me PDQ.
My little brain can't even comprehend how deep that is.

Noice, John!

And since it's solar, fewer battery changes on her watches makes it a gift for yas both.

Please convey my best wishes for many more happy, healthies to the Missus.

One of the great watch world secrets for small-wristed gents: Check out the "women's" versions.

However, wish the missus a happy birthday from all of us. After all, she's the one that has to put up with your constant visits to see the Jolly Lesbian.

Had no idea that watch existed. Good job, Conj. And a big Happy BD to Mrs. C.

Thanks, Loafmeister. I gave the Seiko to Mrs. C tonight early for her B-day, as she's been a little under the weather and I thought needed a lift. I also grilled a couple filet mignons to medium rare. She liked the watch!!

You are a lucky person, and so is Your wife. If I'd bring another watch to my wife, she'd just be rolling her eyes. That is unless it is an 18K pink gold ladies size JLC Reverso or something else not to be had below 4 grand. :-o
