I have two, this first one is buy Yobokies. I fucked up the bezel insert a few years back while riding my bike and wiping out, also breaking my finger. It has an AR coated crystal, after market hands, bezel insert, and the case has been bead blasted. I love the finish of the case.

This second one is by Bob Thayer and is called a fire Monster.

Nice watch, Mort. Like the patriotic theme.

Thank you, HC...I like it, too. The ironic thing about that is the guy who sold it to me: a Brazilian Navy Submariner.

Other than that one, I don't own any.

I had a feeling that was the one you went for. Beautiful watch. If I did not have my eyes set on a Orient Star 300m, I would have jumped on that one myself.

Orient sub, de-cyclopsed, media blasted, and Pepsi be-bezeled from Rolex 5513:

Bernhardt: media blasted, but only the shiney steel - the matte sections remain:

6309 - bezel, dial, hands, etc

Monstre:

Seiko SKsumpin... I don't remember, but I did add Yokobies date-delete dial & Sinn-ful hands:

Similar to above, except I used the stock hour & minute hands with a Yobokies Cali dial & arrow seconds hand. Blasted-finish case is stock:

Seiko SKX007 rally/"Soxa" mod:

Other that that I leave well enough alone. For up to 5 minutes.

Thanks Rx! Dave Murphy did a great job with the bezel... But apparently he was only able to make a handful of diamond knurl bezels because the manufacturing process was so hard on the equipment...

But the lume is what really finishes it - because, let's face it, any Vostok with lume that is worth a damn is down right startling!
