Carl von Zeyten Watches

Carl von Zeyten“ for those who want to google.

A „brand“ under the umbrella of Werner Kwiatkowski Internationale Handelsvertretung, ex bankrupt Cristano GmbH (Ingersoll), selling chinese watches.
Website stated that in „the middle of the last century, Carl von Zeyten, an ambitious and technically skilled watchmaker, dedicated all his efforts to the creation of unique pocket and wrist watches. Based in Freudenstadt in the Black Forest, he made a name for himself all over the country.“ I couldn‘t find back Carl von Zeyten in the „Lexikon der Deutschen Uhrenindustrie 1850-1980“, issued by Förderkreis lebendiges Uhrenindustriemuseum e.V., Villingen-Schwenningen, 2005, which is the Who‘s who“ of German watchmaking.

Here‘s a link to an article of the Badische Zeitung stating that the watchmaker Carl von Zeyten never existed. Bogus history though. ... 64361.html

“Your heart was warm and happy

With the lilt of Irish laughter

Every day and in every way

Now forever and ever after."
