Thanks for bumping this. I was in the hospital and rehab when this happened. I missed it.

Doxa China connection

Post by tomsimac » May 5th 2016, 9:40am

Taken all together, I've decided (feel) its Chinese
Eye strain from the posts with all the quotes and picture comics dazzled my senses

How many hours did it take to accomplish this soul searching finale. A tribute to the "free speech" provision not found on other forums

However, I knew from the start the first post was a poor attempt by the troll to get attention or deceive.

So many micro watches are sourced in similar, or more obvious ways, its a joke. I have bought some micros that fell apart day one.
OC& was an example, not sure if it was chinese or a swiss clone/homage to chinese mfg.

Well rick, who by the way is the OP of this thread, as usual using a fake ID to stir up trouble, how does it feel to have folks laughing at you? How many times did you threaten me or this forum with legal action or try to call me out only to slick back under that rock of yours.

I've seen this with bicycles but to a far lesser level of deception.

bikes direct.com has bought the name rights to several defunct European brands and put them on several lines of bicycles. While they never say the bikes are made in Europe, they also don't say they are made in China. They tout the historical glory of the brand names.

Some current European bicycle manufacturers wish to hide the fact their bicycles are made in Taiwan or even China, even though Taiwan is the premiere bicycling manufacturing center in the world and have excellent quality control standards.

Sell me a good looking watch that won't fall apart. I don't care where it was built or who put it together.

Yep and I know the watch world will be a better place without that guy in it.

I did indeed check my facts in relation to the response Doxa RIck gave me at FB. He was wrong as usual.
