Didn't recognize 95% of those on the list. And the others I didn't know were claiming to be made in Germany.

I despise dishonesty; I feel if these companies were open about where their watches are made, most people wouldn't care. And for the few imbeciles that honestly believe that they too can purchase a $5,000 watch for only 3 payments of $29.99, there's a company called Invickta that would like to speak with you.

This. Anybody who knows anything about watches knows most cheap watches are Chinese. And one can either buy Chinese because one doesn't care, or save up a bit more and buy Swiss or German.

Is anybody else surprised how many German watch brands there are?

I was very much surprised at how long that list was. Are many of them microbrands?

I've often wondered if Watchlords should have its own watch. There's enough experience and industry knowledge(I'm assuming) to get it done without too much fuss.

The hard part would be to come up with our watch's backstory and raison d'´´´´etre.
