Moritz Grossmann Hamatic Vintage

NEW: Moritz Grossmann Hamatic Vintage and Benu Tourbillon Limited Edition

Moritz Grossmann recently launched two new limited edition versions of their HAMATIC Vintage and Benu TOURBILLON in red gold, with black dials. Both also feature the brand’s first use of 750/000 rose gold in-house handmade hands.

As is the case with other HAMATIC Vintage models, this new model’s case is 41mm, with a thickness of 11.35mm. It is in 750/000 rose gold and has a water resistance of 30m.

Let’s look at the black dial for both of these two new limited editions – they are made by applying several layers of anthracite lacquer to a German silver base and polished until the effect is mirror-like. After that, a transparent layer of lacquer is applied.

Stunning craftsmanship but I don't like Roman numerals, or those hands. No iidea who Paul Woods is but he looks like a seedy fuck. If I saw him in Thailand I'd probably break his knee, just to be sure.

His wife.

He used to share a stage with some informercial shills back in the day of geeks. He represented philip watch. https://www.philipwatch.net/en/classic.html

Philip made decent watches

V7750 movement, decent warranty and good fit and finish. Most were pretty limited runs.

He can certainly dress. I appreciate his fondness for GOLD!

Okay, so derailed by gratuitous pictures of some guy and his wife with too much facial hair.

If I'm going to buy a pocketwatch, I'd just as well get one big enough to be called a pocketwatch.

I could add the disclaimer that maybe the watch looks better in person but that could be insulting to the photographer.
