Membership card please; Glashutte Original

Post by codguy » September 12th 2020, 11:19am

Respectfully request membership as a Glashutte Original owner, the Panoreserve in particular and my most expensive watch.
Reference number 1-65-01-22-12-04

I know of at least two others here, and if memory treats me right, yet a third member shared pics of his GO Pano many years ago.

Purchased watch and kit bnib from the east coast on Thursday afternoon, arrived overnight the following morning !

Completely inhouse watch including dial, case & hand-wound movement/components.
Silver dial with bigdate and blued hands, hand engraved balance bridge and second cock, duplex swan neck adustment ,48 jewels, 42 hour power reserve and regulated to COSC specs., Etc., etc., ect.

Crappy initial cellphone pics (but you have all seen this model before)....... I'll work on better pictures in the future including one with hand-in pocket for the Rooster since we know he loves discombobulated dial layouts.

Trying to catch up here. I am a bit envious here. Great looking watch and as you say, a keeper. I think GO is under rated as a brand. I know that mrneddles had one and I thought Juan had one as well.

Glad you are happy with it and one of these days I will enjoy seeing it in person.

Doesn't Thunder have a Panoreserve, too? Or am I high?

Nice one. I love the looks of that movement - in theory, a typical German 3/4 plate design, but unusually combined with a balance bridge.
I always hope for the best. Experience, unfortunately, has taught me to expect the worst.
