Experiences with Sinn

Post by biglove » August 18th 2020, 6:59am

Looking at a Sinn 856 vs 556.

Of course I have never seen one in person, there is not a AD anywhere within 1,000 miles, As far as I can tell, there may not be a physical store with them new in US.

Any experiences in person with the brand/models is appreciated.

These are the two am looking at:

I've owned at least two. They were well made watches, good looking too. I've read horror stories of getting them serviced, especially oil filled ones. That wasn't a concern for the ones I owned. Regardless, for me, I just never connected with the designs and they all got flipped relatively quick.

I am pretty sure the noble rooster owns a Sinn as well.

Thanks for your impressions, IWB. Thanks, T-B.

Oh, Rooster...do tell. And some more photos.

Addendum: Sinn 556A RS special ordered. Super excited.

Thanks for the info, guys.
