I like the rubber strap version over the bracelet. It's chunky at 41mm width, 14mm thick and 48mm lug to lug. Also not a fan of the price at $1,380. But it looks pretty good.

I saw these in the metal for the first time a couple of months ago at Gnomon. Gotta say I was surprised and disappointed about how cheap they looked. And they weren't cheap. I always liked them up until that point.

Was it this particular model or Marathons in general? I had one come through my hands for one of the old auctions and thought it looked like all the money.

They had many, probably the whole range, or near enough. I didn't even bother to handle them, just everything looked rough, unrefined, half-finished. Acceptable for a cheap beater but these now look to be getting on AUD$2k. Not a chance.

Put it this way, for AUD$1,500 more I could have walked out with The Citizen.

Another way to look at it - they aren't as nicely finished as my Citizen monocoques, aren't Ti, aren't monocoque, and those were something like AUD$700.
