I never did buy the Ti GMT. Still regret it, it's still good value, but I was a bit put off when they put prices up a while back. They turn out good solid watches for people who want an auto and refinement of finish is not the highest priority.

I had one of the GMT knockoffs--err, I mean homages--back in the old BDWF days, when Steinhart was called Debaufre in the US. It was a pretty nice watch, apart from being a carbon copy of the GMT-Master. One day at work I was wearing it, and a customer commented, "that's a nice Rolex." I replied that it was a Debaufre, and the look of disappointment the guy gave me really nailed things home. I sold it along not too long afterwards.

Still, a nice watch, particularly for the price, and quite accurate, as I recall.
