Looks nice, however it seems like Mido has this tendency to regurgitate catchy names from their heyday, without any innovations to live up to the ones that these names signified. It's just a bog-standard Powermatic 80. Ah, well, at least they use the 25-jewel civilized version rather than the 23-jewel one with plastic escapement parts.

That seems to be the thing to do these days; bring back an old name for a 'new' watch. Limit the quantities and get the online sites to gush over it and you've got yourself a winner.

Yes, it's just a refreshed look with an acceptable, but not exciting movement.
