Ming Does Lume
Ming has created the first true white lume for his newest watch. Apparently, that's enough to charge CHF 3,250 for a Selitta automatic with a rubber strap.

The comments sections in the hoodwinkee article about this watch had something of interest from a HotAirBabloon:
"It's my understanding from the article that Ming combined different lume types until the different wavelengths of visible light were accounted for, thus white light emission. It would be interesting to see how the light degrades over time since different wavelengths of lume degrade at different rates. It seems they would need to account for the different wavelengths and their respective decay rates by combing different lume in varying proportions. They probably had to test different combinations with the human eye since in low light humans perceive higher-frequency wavelengths better. "
