Oct 11 2025 w/ Liu Shuli (via Wechat), a new watch! and more good times

Here's the link and a couple of teaser shots..

https://www.amchpr.com/liushuli2025.html

Yes, there's watch content and lots more life in Beijing.

Mr. Liu and I go back in a way to my very first visit to Beijing because i found his store, but spoke to employees, not him (although i didn't know who was who at that point).

Mr. Liu's huge generosity was made plain on my next visit when I was introduced to Mr. Liu by Li Wei. Here's that story (about half-way down this page).

Hope y'all enjoy!

Surprised at how clean the walkways and paths are.
No feces, needles, bums laying in your path, garbage, homeless encampments, protesters complaining about the sun coming up that morning, etc.
Love that 'dragon' tree/sculpture in one of the shots.

It is magical how clean it is. I am guessing pride in community. Appropriate levels of
infrastructure.

Here's one of the reasons why it's so clean. These folks are everywhere.

And maybe it's culture, too...

And: China also has a huge fleet of mechanized sweeping and cleaning equipment. It's not all done by hand...

And...

People do litter, yes.

Is it as much as where I live--in a medium size small town, I think no. At least in urban areas, you're never far from a waste receptacle.

Things are different out in some of the very small Chinese villages. There, I've seen litter worse than in most very small villages where I live.
