Xianglong (Flying Dragon) at the AMCHPR

Post by AlbertaTime » January 10th 2025, 6:27pm

I bought this Xianglong (flying dragon) for the case back, and the nicely textured dial is a bonus. I'm not convinced it's vintage, exactly, given the ZSE (Shanghai) movement and unsigned crown--but just the caseback is worth the price, to me. I've provided two photos of the case back with differing lighting so folks can see the detail.

Xianglong is a subdistrict of Changsha, Hunan. Changsha, Hunan is referenced on the case back. Strap is a CNS ribbed/gray.

Thanks, John, Jason.

I asked the seller for some background info, because in all my years of hunting, I've never seen this brand or this case back. We'll see what I get back.
