San Martin SN0120 mil-style chrono arrives at the AMCHPR

Post by AlbertaTime » April 18th 2024, 3:58pm

The AMCHPR spring 2024 watch purchasing spree nears its end, with just one last piece to come after this. Here's the newly arrived San Martin 37mm SN0120 quartz chrono:

Image

Details: 37mm w/o crown; 46mm lug-to-lug; 12mm thick; 20mm lugs; sapphire crystal w/AR; bead-blasted stainless case (w/anti-fingerprint coating), screw-down crown; 100m WR; VK61 quartz chrono movement. It came on a decent black NATO but it's now on a Fluco Record strap.

Sure, I'll take guesses on what's gonna be last of the spree Image

Nice looking watch!

My only problem with San Martin is the trainwreck of a website they have. Hard to navigate and find what you want. And you know they have it; they seem to sell hundreds of models of watches.

And of course, the watch you present is not to be found on their website. :dssd:

It looks like its available here: https://sanmartinwatchstore.com/product ... ield-watch, and there are a few available on AliX but I think the model is discontinued.

There is a used one on Chrono24 right now, though, too.

Another nice one. Is it a chronograph? (sorry, conj). I guess the last one will be a great-looking San Martin I've never seen.
Thank you! I just checked the dial and my description, so I think...yes, it's a chronograph--but maybe Conj knows for sure.

Re: 'My only problem with San Martin is the trainwreck of a website they have," it may be more accurate to say "train wreck *websites* because they have a few.

My understanding is that sanmartin-watch.com is the official/official site and the others are authorized and legit agents, but I could be mistaken (the link goes to San Martin's Watchuseek account stating the official site). I've purchased from sanmartin-watches with zero issue, but I've also purchased from Aliexpress, and would trust most of the SanMartin sites. Chinese companies have very weird distribution compared to western companies.

Ohh yeah, I really like that one. 37m is too small for me but it looks perfect on yo wrist. Great score.
Thank you!
