Sept 11th update: AMCHPR China Tour 2023

Post by AlbertaTime » September 11th 2023, 1:24am

Hi all,

This post won't link to an article. Since I left Shenzhen, I've been beautifully busy in Shenyang and Dandong, and now in Shijiazhuang. More details will come later--but what's a post with no photos?

So: two of of my ride in Shenyang (Hongqi H9 45TD), a couple from Peacock in Dandong, and a couple from today, the 11th, at the older Shijiazhuang Watch Factory (seems like a max of 5 attachments, so I'll put the last two in the first reply).

Glad to see you are having a fun time!

I'll bet the food is really good!
Well, for example...the last photo is my brother Ma Rong (white t-shirt) with Mr. Tsu, a former engineer with Shijiazhuang Watch Factory. The clicking cups are with Mr. Tong Bo (marketing) and Mr. Wang Guangwen (administration) from Peacock Watch Factory.

So...yup!! Image

Fucking Ron. Only the long wheel-base model for him!
I gotta admit, I was a bit surprised when this was the car that arrived to drive me around. Even with its obvious styling cues, it's a gorgeous car, and I can't help but appreciate that my hosts considered it in any way appropriate for my visit.

I drive a 2013 Honda Civic, and I'm happy with that, or actually, with anything that runs.
