The Sept 3rd update: AMCHPR China tour of 3023

Post by AlbertaTime » September 3rd 2023, 7:57am

Here's the URL for the whole story

https://www.amchpr.com/shenzhen_sept_3_2023.html (fixed the link)

Hi all:

I met today with Joel Chan of http://micmicmor.blogspot.com, (aka Micmicmor Vintage Watch) which was one of my earliest inspirations, and collectors Eric Heise (HK), Boey Chern Yue (Singapore), Ed Tse of HKED watches (HK), and Daniel Csantos (Hungary).

Here's a few of teaser photos...

Sorry for the quality and size of the photos at my site but I'm uploading through a vpn and reduced them for size till I get home.

All the best to the 'Lords!

I got a 404 error at the link but got to the story from the homepage...

All the watches were very cool, but the Dong Fang Hong and Shanghai Anniversary (awesome dial) were my favorites. Also cool to see a little of the heritage of the divers. It's always great to gain insights into the rich bedrock of Chinese watchmaking and looking forward to seeing what the modern houses are up to.

Thanks to all for the kind replies. It was very late when I wrote the post. It's morning now and I fixed the link :dssd:
