Late in the evening...

Post by AlbertaTime » June 22nd 2022, 10:34pm

Hi all:

This is my favourite time of the year up here in scenic Peace River. This photo is from my front security cam, taken at 23:21:26 this evening, just a few minutes ago, If you look close you can see, past my burgundy Honda , a neighbour in the alley, out for an evening stroll. It'll be dusky dark by midnight--but not black. Sun'll be coming up around 4:30AM.

Quite and calm, and cool after a sunny warm day. Nice.

Hope you're all well.

That's a fucking beautiful pic, A-T. A little while ago I went out on the front porch, at around 9:00 PM, as the sun was setting; it was still light enough to read a newspaper. It reminded me of the early COVID days, when I would step outside, in the spring and then summer glooming, to make sure that the world was still there, and so were I and Mrs. C.

I'm doing well over here; I hope all the various Lords are doing the same.

Didn't realize you were far enough north to experience extended daylight. This is one of the three spring models I've seen running around my place.
