Not Chinese...a kind gift from my Brother-in-law...

Post by AlbertaTime » July 9th 2022, 4:58pm

He's not a watch guy, he's downsizing and thought I'd appreciate it. I do!!!

It's an Omega Wadsworth, bumper auto, a bit worse for wear and needs Polywatch badly, but still... :-)

Awesome! I'm sure you'll have that one cleaned up and shiny like new in no time.
Thank you! Image

The crystal should get shiny, at least. The case is a bit tiny-chipped or corroded around the crystal, and kinda generally shows wear but I think that just points to a "daily wearer." I threw that single pass on it for the shot, but I'm gonna go leather on this one.

Awesome! Man I want to Polywatch that crystal. Please post an after pic.
Thank you, too! Image

I went to Polywatch it and my present tube was out so Amazon, here I come ('cuz Amazon's fast).

Very nice, but it seems Amazon is not so fast anyways?

Is it gold capped? Even if it is plated, I would believe You can clean away the "corrosion", if possible I suggest to remove the crystal for the cleaning and polishing job.

Thank you all! My friend is thrilled I'm happy, and I'm grateful as heck for all the kindnesses I get, from him and from you all.
