CW C1 Worldglow

Post by koimaster » February 4th 2021, 8:45pm

The genesis of Christopher Ward’s latest brainchild comes from its sister watch, the C1 Moonglow, which landed in July 2019. That was released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the landing of the first Apollo that landed on the moon and was a roaring success for the British brand that only formed in 2005 (from a chicken shed in Berkshire I might add). It is now one of several brands driving a burgeoning UK market forward, thanks in part to co-founder and CEO Mike France (no, he’s not French).

With the lilt of Irish laughter

I like CW but have never been a fan of map dials and the transparency makes it worse.

As to the mesh, I tend to agree with cod. It may be historically correct but looks mismatched to me.
x2 very cool, but not my shot of whiskey

The strap looks good though, no? They show it on both.

Deducted stars due to size, being a "dress" watch on mesh bracelet and the red jewish space laser pointing at the gmt hour
I don't consider it a dress watch, and I wouldn't wear it on mesh. I like the Jewish space laser!
