It appears that chief Christopher Ward movement designer/wonder kind Johannes Jahnke has left and has gone to work at Sellita. Wera, Johnnes, others in CS... it would not surprise me if Chris Ward left as well.

I didn't actually know that there was a Christopher Ward. I thought it was a made-up character, like Aunt Jemima.
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

Well, the company has been something of a big deal in the watch world for quite awhile now..quite the legacy he's helped create..just hope this event doesn't present the opportunity for another 'name on the dial' change..

We had a live chat with him a few years ago here at WL.

Still waiting for Aunt Jemima and Betty Crocker to respond to repeated requests for similar Q and A's.

Christopher Ward did what other "Micro Brands" only dream of doing. He achieved success ,and put out a continually quality product while maintaining great CS.
Good job and good luck.
I hope the other guys don't fuck it all up.

That's one helvetica decision.

I think they've already started to fuck it up, fog.
WatchGeeks will go down in watch forum history as the worst watch related site that existed. Trolls, threats, bannings, and owners and sponsors talking out of their collective asses to fleece people out of hard earned money. - Koimaster

The only watch CW made that I liked was the single-pusher chrono which is touted as Jankes' best work there. It was never offered at a price that reflected a good value and I passed.

Given Janke, a key movement guy and designer and other design folks are departing it would appear there were some creative differences about the line going forward. It will be interesting to see who comes aboard, or who may acquire them and what the brand will be made of in the future.

I understand that interviews for a logo designer are already underway.
