Interesting. I don't know what to think. It would only take 3,000,000 years or so for self-replicating and self-improving robots to explore vast areas of the galaxy and it stands to reason if they headed this way they'd stop at earth, being by far the most complex and interesting planet in the solar system (and with biosignatures). If there is life througout the galaxy and some life is millions of years ahead of us, why not?

If not, it's gotta be confidential military/contractor tech people are seeing. What if nano tech has advanced to the point that things can be built at the macro scale with nano-scale precision? I wonder if that would allow structures to be so strong and light that they seem alien to observers? Possibly combined with next-gen propulsion? And hence the manouvres that appear to defy physics?

The UFO thing has been in and out of vogue since I was a kid. There was no solid evidence last time I looked at the issue and I can't see that much has changed.

Aside from the flat earth stuff its one of the most enduring conspiracies.
Meritocracy: the privilege, wealth and advancement of those who chose their parents wisely.
Capitalism: a cult that promised to do good for the worst reasons.
Nationalism: a profound longing to go back to a past that never existed.

What's your theory for the tic-tac and those lights seen by many (hundreds?) over that desert town?

I don't have specific theories to account for any of the many claims. There's lot's of speculation that hasn't really added much genuine insight.

I'm waiting on some verifiable evidence of something...anything at all. There has been nothing substantive and independently verifiable to date.

I remember a group of crop circle believers spent the night in a field in the UK, hoping to see some aliens.

Meanwhile, in the next door field, the real crop circle makers were hard at it, making more circles so the fans would have something to talk about.

All this alien talk is the bunk!!
That's what they want us to think, by golly.
Flushes understands
After taking extensive research (i.e. a Google search "How many people own smartphones in the world?") the answer is, there are about 6.5 billion smartphones in the world. This means, assuming all the phones are still in use, about 85% of the world's population owns a smartphone with very high quality photography and/or video. For fuck's sakes, I even own a fucking smartphone.

One would think, with all those people around the world owning a smartphone, at least a few would have captured pictures or video of:

A) A UFO that looks at least as good and the old Gerry Anderson BBC series from the 1970s,

B) Somebody getting their asshole probed by said aliens. or

C) Somebody getting their fucking brains eaten by motherfucking aliens.

Alas (or thankfully) no such videos or pictures exist. Instead, all we get are the same bullshit low-rez black and white video of shit supposedly said to be gun-camera videos from Air Force and Navy fighter jocks that we've seen since Plan 9 From Outer Space.

I'll start being concerned when we get hi-def video of some poor bastard getting his asshole probed by some bug-eyed aliens, preferably Carrot Top or Alex Jones.

One would certainly think there'd be better cameras in our fighter jets, by golly.

I watched a really interesting video in the last year about how some US military still uses some really old PCs. I can't remember the exact details but it was like 486 laptops or something. They were using them for something quite specific IIRC, like programming cruise missiles. They hadn't updated them as they were fit for purpose and reliable. New equipment has to go through an extensive procurement process including testing, and it wasn't necessary to replace those computers with all the associated complication and expense. And the cruise missiles (or whatever it was) might then need updating, and then the other systems around that, etc, etc. So perhaps some of the equipment in a F22 or Super Hornet isn't as modern as your phone.

EDIT: Found it:

Old software rather than hardware but the point remains.

Bullshit. They ain't here, and they won't ever be.
That's what they want us to think.

In rethinking the ubiquitous blurry images of alleged alien airborne vehicles, that if said aliens are capable of being undetected in the universe and get to earth, that would certainly be intelligent enough to have fuzznifying cloaking devices to prevent humans from obtaining detailed images.

Why not just use a full cloaking device? For the same reason they allow the abducted and probed to return to earth with their memories intact; just to fuck with uis of course.

I get Netlfix at 4K but these docos breathlessly present the same old ultra-grainy, can't-see-anything-really footage. I can see the individual roof-tiles on my house on google-earth but nothing genuinely discernible is ever available when it comes to UFO's.

The footage you see of the Loch Ness 'monster' is better than the UFO trash.

This misrepresents what is actually going on. ASDA do a range of 50 something vegan products under the title 'Plant-Based' - (tofu burgers, etc). This is one of those products and it just means it meets a standard they set for organic/vegan/etc production methods that are applied to processed food. Not all companies' versions of mash potato would be vegan, for example.

If you avoid all context and just recirculate ignorant people's memes you can laugh at others and feel better about yourself, I guess.
