Epstein/Maxwell Document Release
If it thinks, it stinks
If anybody spent time on his island, or any time at all with him after his 2009 conviction on child abuse charges, they knew what type of person he was.3Flushes wrote: ↑January 3rd 2024, 7:48pmWhile some on the list certainly engaged in deviant and unlawful behavior with trafficked victims, I suspect that most of those folks did not.
Sexual abusers of children and adolescents are particularly good at shielding their activities from their friends, business associates, and families, operating within highly cloistered networks.
Those named on the list unaware of Epstein's disgusting crimes, absent absolute evidence to the contrary, will be under an irrefutable cloud of suspicion nonetheless.
Careful who your friends are.
Indeed, and perhaps should have known better, despite whatever BS Epstein laid out about it - the victim lied about their age, etc etc - and while this adds to the likelihood all will be suspected, their plausible deniability tarnished by what they knew or should have known about Epstein. Such knowledge doesn't make them predators and most of Epstein's friends and associates, I believe were not, evidenced particularly by being absent accusers. We'll see what accusations may be yet to surface.jason_recliner wrote: ↑January 3rd 2024, 8:19pmIf anybody spent time on his island, or any time at all with him after his 2009 conviction on child abuse charges, they knew what type of person he was.3Flushes wrote: ↑January 3rd 2024, 7:48pmWhile some on the list certainly engaged in deviant and unlawful behavior with trafficked victims, I suspect that most of those folks did not.

Not necessarily abusers, although some of them were (Prince Andrew, Brunel, Dershowitz), but makes their ethics and moral judgement very fucking disgusting. If even my best mate was convicted for child abuse, I would cut that tie. I've known the guy since I was 10 but that would be it. Line crossed. Gone. Finished. Many, perhaps most, people would do the same. So why, after they knew, did they maintain relationships with Epstein and Maxwell? Fair enough if they don't want to now be associated with child abuse and abusers but, if so, they have some explaining to do.3Flushes wrote: ↑January 3rd 2024, 8:35pmIndeed, and perhaps should have known better, despite whatever BS Epstein laid out about it - the victim lied about their age, etc etc - and while this adds to the likelihood all will be suspected, their plausible deniability tarnished by what they knew or should have known about Epstein. Again, careful who your friends are.
Sorry Dear leader John but I have to question this approach. This is a crime, a series of most serious crimes actually, and if political figures committed crimes, and/or are reasonably accused of doing so, that should be open for discussion. That's not a political discussion, that's a criminal discussion. And surely even the most partisan of simpletons wouldn't defend a child abuser because the abuser is a member of their preferred party. Furthermore, Clinton and Trump being sleazy adulterers (no evidence that Trump abused children, Clinton might be more suspect but nothing concrete AFAIK) doesn't have any bearing on other Democrats or Republicans, or the parties.conjurer wrote: ↑January 3rd 2024, 8:39pmI've been monitoring this tonight on CNN, and already, two former president's names were mentioned. I would urge all members to be reminded of the forum rules regarding political discussions anywhere but in the Policy Room subforum.
As long as politics stay out of here, have at it. I still think that Carrot Top is going to get indicted.

Understood.
He was just managing my investment property, I swear! He said I'd be able to increase my deductions if we ran an international model scouting agency / massage parlour / Mossad regional bureau out of the building. I was only following his financial advice!
