The problem with air travel deals for me is that they all would come out of Portland International Airport (PDX). It is a HORRIBLE airport and all deals are $150 or more than other airports. Theybadd ridiculous taxes to pay for endless new carpet and rich people parking garages. They try to promote their hipster food carts in the airport that are generally overpriced gross food. (With lots of gross garlic). I wish I lived closer to a real airport.

When I was going to China it seemed everything routed through SeaTac. But that was around 5 years back.

But it didn’t much matter if it was SeaTac, Orlando, LAX or SFO - the domestic airport was invariably the worst part of it.
