Yes, I might be going through a breakup.
I highly recommend it.jason_recliner wrote: ↑April 20th 2022, 10:28pmThis literally made me laugh!!!
Maybe I'll get that orange Monster or Breitling or something to cheer me up...
Unfortunately any spare funds for a while are going into the house. She hates the house, so I might as well fix it up now that she won't get to enjoy it (although she still lives here for now, which is weird). Petty? Me?smellody wrote: ↑April 21st 2022, 3:41pmI highly recommend it.jason_recliner wrote: ↑April 20th 2022, 10:28pmThis literally made me laugh!!!

Why not purchase metal detector and hit the outback for some nice surface gold?

Nah, bought the house with my ex-wife. Paid her out so now it's mine. Sarah hates it because it was Yokey's house. Which I don't really get - I'd be stoked to hook up with somebody who just happened to have a house I could live in.
I like that story! I feel somehow strangely happiercodguy wrote: ↑April 22nd 2022, 9:27amAlrighty then--------- here is a story about a man named Jed.
His relationship was on the skids & he tried to dump the girlfriend from their shared house before he went on a 6 month WESTPAC cruise.
"Was told" she refused to move since her name was also on the home lease.
So 'ole Jed decided to coddle her before the trip to keep things hunky-dory soooo
#1 She wouldn't sell everything in the house & split when he is gone
#2 She would take care of Jeds sharpei
The entire time Jed was gone, he knew he was going to move her out when he returned but kept up the facade via long distance letters/phone calls.
Upon return, she decided to move away but waited for Jed to return....... for which sailor Jed faked being disappointed but supported her decision![]()
Rumor has it Jed lives happily ever after, so as I understood.
Some relationships are worth maintaining, while sometimes one needs to cut bait.
FWIW- codguy just went through a mutual split from a 17 year relationship. We split up real-estate/property/possessions and I permanently moved back to my 2300 sqft "rental" house. Awkward and kinda heartbreaking but I moved on and is none for the worse. Actually it will now make moving out of conus mucho suave.
A break up is always difficult but easier since I'm an independent type (or freelancer as called by a friend's wife). I will never again permanently share an abode------visit but you are not moving in.
BTW- there is alway "strange" when the urge is present......... just saying.
My two cents and not trying to be callous of your situation Mr. Underscore, ymmv. A lot of us have been through it and it usually sucks.
hehehehehe
Lyke these ??? OK
