Three dead and three others helicoptered to the hospital. They still hadn’t sorted out what happened when they reopened the road due to the vehicles being wadded up to the extent they couldn’t figure out who hit who or in what order.

I’m surrounded by orange groves with hardly any traffic so it’s an unfortunate, deadly mystery.

Dang. Just last week some jerkoff got himself shot to death a mile from my house.

Well at least ours was probably unintentional but even that’s up for grabs since the area was labeled a crime scene.

Usually that road has four cars on it total from stem to stern. The forensics geeks have their work cut out for them. It’s like backtracing pachinko balls after the fact.

And what caused High Noon to be played out in your neighborhood?

Unknown. It was at a small shopping center, near where we bank. Somebody found the body one morning, and the poor fuck was already dead.

A guy went on a shooting spree here last night, killed 4 and was later killed by the police following a chase where the suspect fired at police as they pursued him. The suspect was actually able to get a shot into the radiator and disable the police vehicle allowing the him to escape.

Officers in a suburb of Denver saw the suspect's vehicle and wound up in a shootout as they tried to make contact with him; an officer was shot and the suspect was killed.

In all, 5 died including the suspect, and 3 were injured in Colorado's thirteenth mass shooting of the year that appears to have initially targeted tattoo shops.

Tattoo shops? I couldn’t wrap my head around someone targeting massage parlors and this most recent dude is too dead to explain what tattoo shops did to piss him off.

I guess that’s why they used “senseless” in describing it.

Tattoo shops and massage parlours are owned by bikies here and in S/E Asia. That's why they're often targeted. Not sure who runs them in the States.

The massage parlors are mostly Asian babes driving Subarus. Don’t know about the tattoo shops.

They might open and close the doors, they might even be on the paperwork. But in the tourist areas bikies and other mafias own and run the massage and tattoo parlours (and lots of the clubs too).

On a more generic level I just watched season two of “Ink Masters”. Turns out there’s a lot of reasons people get pissed off at tattoo shops.

Also Codguy was correct twice: first for the goth observation and for putting “babes” in quotes.
