Grammar is important

Post by koimaster » January 28th 2021, 12:05pm

In this world of hi-tech/always focused on something electronic, I have noticed that many who send text messages and email have forgotten the "art" of capitalization, ie. using a capital letter when it's appropriate, and required.

Those of you who fall into this world, please take note of the statement below.

I cannot stress enough that grammar is important:

Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

With the lilt of Irish laughter

Every day and in every way

Now forever and ever after."

Actually its both uncle and Jack that should be capitalized in the first example and then neither in the second.

Punctuation is even more important.
