H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Concept Vantablack

Post by Racer-X » March 20th 2019, 3:25pm

"Following the introduction of the Endeavour Perpetual Moon Concept last year, H. Moser & Cie. now takes minimalism to the edge with the Venturer Concept Vantablack launched at Baselworld 2019. The brand has incorporated the world’s blackest black, made by British firm Surrey NanoSystems, in the time-only Venturer.

Typical of Moser’s Concept range of watches, it is dramatically pared back, rid of all markings and logos and isn’t actually a concept piece as it is in full production. The dial is coated in Vantablack, which absorbs virtually all incident light, making three dimensional objects appear two dimensional, as their surface shape becomes virtually invisible. The result is a theatrically minimalist dial with nothing but a pair of red gold leaf-shaped hands."
