I ordered a Seiko Alpinist from Seiya a couple of years ago.
I placed the order on a Saturday and the watch was delivered on Wednesday.
4 days from Japan to Mass.

Boom!

I've always surmised there were Japanese sites that would sell to U.S. buyers. Very cool.

One of my great disappointments is that the Philip direct site (apparently) does not ship to the U.S.

I've had the same service from Seiya-san. Also, if you want a certain JDM, just shoot him an email--he'll get it for you if it's getable. He ain't the cheapest way, but he's fluent in English and extremely helpful.

I've done well with him, and Higuchi-san.

Rakutan is a marketplace and care is needed.
