Bring it on!
A little info about me:
I live in Las Vegas, but don’t work in gaming, hospitality, or any other fields you might associate with the city. Those of us who have lived here a while think “Vegas” sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Do people refer to Angeles, Diego, York, or Antonio? You can imagine my dismay that the newbies who established a hockey team here decided they’d be “Vegas Knights” instead of “Las Vegas Knights.”
When it comes to watches, my taste has changed from quartz to vintage to modern automatics. I like just about any style, as long as it’s auto, has a sapphire crystal, and has a case between 38 and 45mm. More specifically, divers between 40 and 45mm, and non-divers between 38 and 42mm. I buy and sell way too often, particularly since I usually buy new. I also have a tendency to regret parting with a watch and buy another of the same model. Sometimes that cycle continues, which is not the best financial policy. I keep my watch collection small, varying from six to eight at any given time. My current list is:
3 Armand Nicolet M02 Dates: white/silver, blue, and gray dials.
Maurice LaCroix Pontos 41mm, gray dial.
Eterna Eternity auto, silver dial.
Zelos Swordfish, ice blue.
Nodus Retrospect II, salmon sky.
I also have a Tissot titanium quartz I bought in 1995 and an Eco-Drive (sapphire crystal) chronograph that I don’t think of as part of my collection, just watches I have. I bought the Tissot on my honeymoon in Jamaica, so I’ll never part with it, even though I don’t wear it very often.
So in the spirit of the recommendations I read, please feel free to mock, ridicule, or otherwise insult me!
