Greetings and salutations from The Netherlands

Post by Tentotwo » February 5th 2018, 12:55pm

I am John, a watchmaker from The Netherlands, Amsterdam area. Watchmaking started 40 years ago, and for the last 5 years this hobby is getting bigger and bigger ;-)
I am specialized in vintage watches, and I have fun with modding the occasional Seiko if I find the time.
More info on my repairs and mods you can find at my website, http://www.tentotwo.nl

welcome to the forum. We have quite a few vintage watch lovers here as well. Most are old farts though once in awhile a youngster discovers that there were watches made before the world revolved around them.

Welcome to the madhouse! We could definitely use some more technical insight from a watchmaker here.

By the way, since I've noticed the modified Panerai-style dial on your blog, what's your favourite variety of weed?

Hidey-Ho!

Do you fancy cheese Danish? If you enjoy smoking the devil’s lettuce, I imagine that you would understand my obsession with food.

Welcome to Watchlords, the "joint's" more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.

Checked out your site, looks like some very cool work, man.

Umm, I wonder if you would be kind enough to send me some DT seeds in an empty pocket watch case. There is a hybrid version of it here in Colorado, however, it is not as good as I recall the straight strain was when I was there, however, I may have smoked enough of it that my memory is hazy, although I am pretty fairly certain that I was in Denmark, I think.

I'm just kidding, of course. (Drop me a PM and let me know. ;) )

The Dutch are a people dwelling below sealevel, living of cheese and communicating with help of rasping sounds.
