Damn that is a voice from the past. Glad to know you still knew how to find the place. We changed the doormat and put out traps for mice and rats but still the same place, just a bit calmer at times.

Hello from the Low Country of South Carolina!
Thanks for letting me join in the fun.
I am here ‘cause I “found” the Admirals wedding gift to me from 40 years ago. Got stuffed in box……now its new again!
Seiko Sportsman 100 Chronograph H556! Serial #200978. Of course, I can’t locate the instructions, ESPECIALLY the alarm shut off! Can anyone point me in the right heading?
Good to be here!

Welcome, Pilot.

Here’s a tutorial on using imgur. It’s free.

That’s pretty cool about the accidental new old stock!

Gerdie provided the manual for the H556 movement which I think is in a couple of different models and very similar to all related movements.

If your example is like this one?

…then Kahuna74 or Thunder1 may be able to help you as they both have that model.

Those instructions should offer some insight, though - they work for my watch thougu, admittedly, it is an evolution of that movement, the H557.
