Hello, my name is Tim, and I'm a wis-aholic.

Ok, thats out of the way.

I'm into Heavy Metal Fabrication.
I manufacture, water tight doors, scuttles and hatches, for NGSS, BIW, USN, USCG, DoD, Gov.

I has a very modest collection of watches, now about 25.

1-34 Ingersoll Mickey Mouse
2-Gen Rollie's
1- DB Alpha Marine 500.
1- Marathon CSAR
10- Invicta's, mixed Grand & Pro Divers,
1-SAN I, 10478
and a mix bag of Seiko, Timex, Fossil, and some others.

Never played with a watch, until my 1st Invicta- GD-3045.
Now I buy them, take em apart, put them back together.
My new indoor hobby.

My buddy Edison(Jim), invited me over, said to watch out.

Did you already join over at Watchlords? Lot of information there, but they can be rough on newbies. BTW, they quoted your post regarding ETA/Valjoux extensively and it got a good review. Back in '07 when I joined here a lot of the Watchlord oldtimers were members here and at BDWF. Jim AKA edison

Hi timex. You show a little too much insight to be a true addict ;-)
Meritocracy: the privilege, wealth and advancement of those who chose their parents wisely.
Capitalism: a cult that promised to do good for the worst reasons.
Nationalism: a profound longing to go back to a past that never existed.

Welcome to the deep end. Although it might be to late I took your ID offline. I do not remember your being a buddy being here. I used to be at wtf until I told king John to fuck off after his comments related Christians, Catholics etc.

I Thank You!, all for the warm welcome.

Banned at WG? So what.

My buddy edison invited me here, before registering, I spent a couple of hours reading the Invicta Forums.

Who do I send my keyboard cleaning bill to?

I spit out, so much corona last night, my keyboard stopped working!!!!!

My sides still ache.

Anyway, if I get banned, their loss, not mine.

Again, Thanks, for the warm welcome.

On a side note, I am old enough to remember when the Thresher went down on her maiden voyage and the attempts at salvage. Scorpion too. Never liked subs except when they were toys for kids.

Boscoe, be careful, I heard about that Invicta Yellow Submarine!!!!!

182 guys sailed out, and 91 couples came back.

Their Captain is one queer bird, she's moored over at WG, last pier on the right.
