Strap versions can have multiple variations with the addition of specially designed adaptors available from an outside source.

Now back to ball busting.

I'm new. Fifty year old male. Avid outdoorsman, hunt and fish. I'm looking for a very large and heavy watch. Trying to keep it under 700$. I like the all black look. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've looked at Invicta ( I read some negative issues already) , Boschett and Deep Blue. Thanks for all your help.

Regards,

John

Might try the Deep Blue Depthmaster. Mini Review below and I was pleased with mine as well. Welcome to the forum by the way.

I might add that Boschett is also a very nice watch and might fit your bill.

Good advice Paul. There's allot of fools and jerk offs on here. I guess I'm not too used to this b.s. Twenty five years in the Army - I didn't see too much of this. They wouldn't last !

To those of you with possitive advice and help - thank you !

I'm still leaning towards a black Citizen Eco if I can find one. I see there is a custom place " motor city" that does them. If there is a very large Seiko in all black for under 700$ let me know.

Thanks again to all the genuine help !

To the other jerks - drop and give me fifty ! HOOAH

Stellar advice; but remember to buy at least 3 of them so that you are assured of getting one with the hands still attached.

Falstaff, do you know where or by whom the Invicta 0741 chronographs are manufactured? Do you have any experience with these chronographs? Are you simply an idiot repeating the mantra of other idiots, or do you have something to share? I have not taken the time to check your contributions to this site; however, you have provided no incentive to do so with what you shared. Best regards, Paul.

@plaverty

Well Paul, try taking me on. The watch is made in China, it has an NE 78 japanese movement which is made in China by Seiko via TMI

http://watchlords.forumotion.net/t9247-eyal-comes-clean-on-the-ne78a-bait-and-switch-scam

http://watchlords.forumotion.net/t9007-seiko-sii-ne78a

It was originally sold as a high beat 36,000k watch and later corrected when we busted Invicta on the claims. And yes, I do know who makes the watches for Invicta under contract. That is also on this forum. In the event you do not know who I am, Desert-Rex of Watchgeeks and freeks described me as the number 1 enemy of Invicta. He was wrong. Invicta is their own worst enemy, I am behind them on that list. I have the honor of being the only person to have a website dedicated to their death in the watch world. Three guesses who posted that site and the first two do not count. I will give you a hint, the site was off-shore and located in Panama as was the registered site admin.

johnywatchman - Okay fellas. No Inshita, no crap tv watches. I will go with the good old Citizen Zilla.

Can someone steer me to where I can get a black S/S band for it ? THANKS

JW - With adapters from http://www.suppaparts.com/ you can mount any 24-mm black coated ss band. I have bought many 24-mm ss mesh bands on eb, and these go for less than $50 and are available in black. Try "black mesh band 24mm" as an eb search string, skip over the BIN items (HK $61 is lowest BIN).

What a complete waste of time. There is no PVD Eco-Zilla for one simple reason - it would be ghey.

Would brushed steel or even the titanium of the eco-zilla be too shiny for your shrapnel eye Sally?

I call bullshit on you being in the Army for 25 years. I haven't met a real soldier, sailor, airman or marine that acts the way you do and yells HOOAH at an internet forum. Say hello to Rear Admiral Turdling for me geek.
