couple of new forums

Post by koimaster » August 17th 2018, 10:13am

Two new foums, Stowa and one for the Field Marshall and his travels. The Admiral was a special watch and should not have to share with anyone. I am still moving topics into the Stowa forum but there are topics populating it now. If you have any ideas for the forum let me know. Jumping in a lake or fucking off are not going to be entertained as ideas.

thanks

Add a ‘Show more recent topics’ at the bottom of the Portal posts. On mobile especially, I think people may leave after scanning those.

Add the ‘img’ button when making a new post on mobile so you don’t have to switch to the Full Version.

I passed along your sentiments to the Admiral and he asked me to relay to you that he is deeply touched.

The only thing re to the forum I can think of is a multi-quote button-

Maybe. I have way more "likes" at WUS than I have posts.

If there were a "like" button I would've liked this post.

Cuz you're a likeable guy.

Arty-What exactly does a "like" button do? Is it a way to see how many members "like" what you post? Assists a popularity contest? Earn points to be used to establish one as a Forum Ambassador?
Am I missing the importance of this feature?

Sounds pretty ghey if anyone asks me.

I like it too, Artie, and brought it up a few years ago with a similar reception.

It's a nice feature to passively approve without making a separate post and may encourage participation from lurkers, but is a bit 'facebooky', if you will.

Likes are just collectible +1's.
As are hearts and thumbs up.
A cabriole table leg system would be more fitting here.
Please note that I just made a palindromic post number (17171) on a palindromic date. (8-18-18)
Like THAT bitches!!!
