Not Really a Pocket Watch...
...Although I suppose it can go into a pocket. Instead, a mechanical stopwatch:
A guy who works with Mrs. C asked me to look at this; apparently it was used by his granddad and dad in timing motorsports, and he was wondering if there was any real value to it (apart from the family history.)
A couple more shots:
It seems in really good shape, apart from some scratches on the back (along with a dent.) Interestingly, it's high beat, and can measure down to 1/10 of a second.
Anybody here have any thoughts/info on these? They're a closed book to me.
Thanks!
