LunchTime - "Oddities from the Museum Collection"
Published on Oct 19, 2017
Museum Director Noel Poirier presented and discussed some objects from the collection that have interesting backgrounds, odd forms or are just plain weird as a means of illustrating the Museum's collection methods and philosophy.
Every other month, the Museum invites the public to join in a casual conversation and understanding of the story behind the Museum collection. “We wanted to provide a more intimate opportunity for people to discover objects from the Museum collection, or learn about important and interesting aspects of the history of time and timekeeping. We thought a brown bag lunch would be the perfect fit,” explains Poirier.

With the lilt of Irish laughter
Every day and in every way
Now forever and ever after."
