First I've seen of the anticipated slew of independent GMT's to hit the market with the NH version of the new Seiko GMT — which unfortunately, as reported by our own Conjurer, is a shitty time keeper — pass.

Gruppo Gamma has quite a cult following and I believe this is one of theirs. Been around for a while and make some nice watches but I have always thought they were spendy. Bought one of their early ones and then sold it in 2016 and bought a similar Maranez that I still own. Always compare the two brands since then. Too bad about the movement but par for the course in this price bracket. Maranez may regulate them better as all of my NH35a from them run quite well. Dont have a GMT though.

I'd rather have a Hamilton or an Explorer.
Who wouldn't?
