Ardor and Forge Rothrock

Microbrands tend to take one of two approaches to develop their products. The most common route is to produce a new twist on a traditional design like the legions of Submariner-inspired diving watches. The other, riskier approach is to say, “what if...” and try something unexpected. Zack Rackovan of Ardor & Forge has opted for that second path. With his debut release, the Rothrock, he created a watch that fuses his industrial design experience with a passion for conservation. After wearing the blue and gray Rothrock Seeger prototype for a few days, I’d say he made the right call. ... ime+Bum%29

I first thought it was a 3D printed case that hadn't any surface treatment. No, just some rough grit blasting so the case looks like it was sand cast.

The blue dial is the best of the lot but the price would have to come down to NH35 territory for me to be interested enough to purchase one.

"Thats the way it is and we liked it" "We loved it"

No, nobody did.
