My Christmas NOA

Post by eddiea » December 28th 2010, 3:25pm

A flawless and smooth transaction with Mrneddles, landed this NOA 1675 in my possession.. been looking for a NOA 1675 for a while, pricing however has kept me away (NOA's are pricey) ... first impressions are excellent, this sample has been pampered to the max and is close to flawless as a pre-loved watch can be, it is fitted with a Dubois Depraz 2050 module piggybacking on a ETA 2892, to no surprise, working the way it supposed too (sorry couldn't help that)....Nicely decorated movt. with furnace blue screws and furnace blue chrono hands, love the "stadium look" of the dial and the superb overall fit/finish, presentation box is about the size of small shoebox(not exaggerating) a bound in leather over the top affair....came with, two straps, certificate of origin (Geneva, Switzerland) as well as LE sequence number, hand signed by NOA's President.
Thank you again to Mrneddles, a gentleman....and Merry Christmas to me.

Pics of the watch by Mrneddles( with permission), since my computer is refusing to download pics at the moment.

Classy looking watch. Interesting design with the crown and pushers opposed and dual quick release springbars. Congrats.

That is such a nice design. I would love to buy one of those in a black or silver dial. I am starting my search now.

There is a 3 hander, smaller case size, with baton hour markers instead of blobs. This was a nicely finished watch. Not sure if NOA is still viable and making watches. Last I checked they were in the oversized case quartz 60% off bin at Amazon.

The lefty crown was a comfort deal killer for me. Also the chrono second hand covered the date window in the reset position, which was an odd design fail.

I bet it would look fine on a strap that uses only one springbar, and you’d have a choice of which holes to use depending on personal preference.

Cool watch, but those long lugs and bizarre double spring bars, yikes. Thoughts and Prayers if you need a new strap.

During the last month Kenjo was open here in NYC, they had a decent number of NOA watches that they were practically giving away for like 75 percent off. To this day, I've been kicking myself for not grabbing one.
