Watchlords

I saw these when they were newly released and finally pulled the trigger on Amazon Japan. We don't have Orient dealers in our part of the World (closest AD is in Singapore) so when I saw this model for the best price anywhere I had to go for it. I Have always wanted a copper/salmon dialled watch and this does not disappoint.

The finishing is very good with a nice mix of polished and brushed surfacing. The bracelet is also nicely polished and brushed links.

The dial finishing is exceptional and the colour is just so nice. I believe Orient Star to be one of the best VFM brands around.

Thanks John, it's an RE-AU0108G, I paid significantly less from Amazon than even Gnomon has them for. They come in various shades, there's a white, copper, green, grey and black dial from the contemporary series of watches. They were released earlier this year, while the white and black dials have been around for a few years.

Very nice variation on one of the best values you can get. I have an RE-AU0403L00B that I won in one of our auctions years ago. Congratulations!!

Anything that good from Switzerland would cost, minimum, a grand to a grand and a half US, easy--and maybe twice as much with a manufacture movement.
